Rail Cybersecurity Summit - Summary

13th Annual Rail Cybersecurity Summit

Operationalising Cyber Resilience: Governance, Assurance, and Collaboration Across the Rail Ecosystem

Summit Overview 💡

Now in its 13th edition, the Rail Cybersecurity Summit 2027 is one of the rail sector’s longest-running forums dedicated to railway cybersecurity, operational resilience, and the protection of rail operational technology (OT) environments. The summit brings together rail operators, infrastructure managers, rolling stock manufacturers, OEMs, technology providers, regulators, and cybersecurity leaders to address the evolving cybersecurity and resilience challenges facing modern railway systems. As rail networks become increasingly connected and dependent on complex supplier ecosystems, railway organisations face growing pressure to strengthen operational resilience, secure operational technology environments, and align with emerging standards, regulatory expectations, and frameworks such as IEC 63452. The event provides a practical, operator-led forum for collaboration and discussion between operators, infrastructure owners, OEMs, suppliers, and government stakeholders working to improve cybersecurity and resilience across the railway sector.

Rolling Stock Data Center Cyber Security Webinar with the Cyber Senate

By |July 6th, 2020|Uncategorized|

AI, machine learning and big data analytics are creating a new paradigm for Rail OEM's, but how are they ensuring safety, reliability and cybersecurity of real-time data access, data in transit, cloud, onboard control systems and control centres?

As rolling stock business models change with the introduction of new technology, digitisation and big data solutions, implementation of IoT or the "The Internet of Trains," enables the consolidation of large volumes of data with business processes and IT systems, creating rolling stock data centers in their own right. With new service offerings for predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, passenger information systems and a plethora of onboard connected sub systems on the rise, bundled data from the vehicles, the infrastructure, and the operations are just the beginning.

Technology drives innovation in Buildings Post COVID19

By |April 28th, 2020|Uncategorized|

What will the buildings sector look like post coronavirus? How can we utilise innovation to ensure business continuity and better define resilience? As the sector looks at how post-COVID19 digital retrofits will be implemented and financed, now is the time for the C Suite to not lose sight of the fundamentals of cybersecurity by design. New technology deployments will need to be more secure than ever and getting C level buy-in will be paramount.
