Vision

To create a community of global leaders with unparalleled knowledge and experience, a common voice for the international Cyber Security industry. To be the first port of call to facilitate discussion and public and private information sharing.

Our Mission

To facilitate significant progress in reducing the cyber vulnerability of our critical infrastructures through genuine

teamwork on a global scale between public and private sectors

Our Undertaking

“Developing resilience with outreach platforms that contribute to the solution.”

Dedicated event initiatives designed to raise awareness regarding issues that require international attention. The Cyber Senate foster collaborative interchanges among infrastructure and security industry stakeholders essential for developing this teamwork.

Platforms

We address key Cyber topics across industry sectors such as Finance and Banking, Transport,  Energy  & Power, Healthcare and other verticals the Senate recommends. Our assets include events, directors clubs, roundtables and webinars.

How are we different and how will we support the Cyber industry as an organiser?

First and foremost, integrity. We also know the business critical issues CISO’s, IT and OT professionals are facing daily, we speak the same language. Any technical issues we cannot answer we pass directly onto our Senate Members. Furthermore they are invited for radio interviews, television opportunities, newspaper articles.. you name it.
If we can’t help you solve your ICS Cyber Security problems, you can bet we work with the best in class who can and will.

We believe if we are serving our industry the industry will serve us.  As an organiser we want to create events that are affordable, with the highest value content in the industry. Running and event is a costly exercise, however we are always looking at strategic alliances and capabilities to pass savings on and keep prices at a level where the industry can contribute. We have never turned away an operator or infrastructure provider from attending a show for any reason.

We rely and work steadily with our Senate members, to ensure the issues that require international attention are brought to light, and we partner with the most credible professionals in the industry.

Through high value content and a robust network of thought leaders, we raise awareness of global security risks to assist in information sharing and the progression of a safer more resilient society.

meJames Nesbitt, Founder of The Cyber Senate.
I have over 16 years experience in developing information sharing opportunities for public and private industry professionals, and a passion for Cyber Security and Smart Infrastructure. The Cyber Senate represents the best in relationship development and thought leadership on a global level. A robust and resilient cyber security strategy is the most important directive on the international agenda, not only addressing current developments, but also how we intend on protecting and securing future generations.

Over the last four years leading the Cyber Senate, I have worked with global CISO’s, front line IT and OT professionals, leading Subject Matter Experts many consider legends and some of the world’s most respected hacking professionals. Although we may never truly get ahead of evolving advanced persistent threats with our reliance on connectivity and greater needs for efficiency, we are confident though a unified and global effort between us all, that we can detect, mitigate and respond collectively through information sharing platforms like the Cyber Senate.

I hope you will support our vision and help us create a common voice for the cyber security and industrial control sectors.

Diversity is valued and respected.

The Cyber Senate is committed to promoting equality and diversity and promoting a culture that actively values difference and recognises that people from different backgrounds and experiences bring valuable insights to any conference, enhancing the way our event attendees perceive their challenges and seek solutions to their work.
As an organiser, all speakers, panellists and contributors as well as staff at our events are chosen on their experience and ability, each unique in their contribution. We do not favour any contributor based on race, disability, gender, or age and consider it good practice to continually ensure a balanced representation is achieved. We approach speakers from different geographical regions, race, gender and creed and find such diverse programmes to be of the highest calibre and a benchmark for our industry.
