Biography
Jyrki Keurulainen is the Chief Technology Officer at EKE‑Electronics Ltd, a Finnish supplier of advanced electronics and software solutions to train manufacturers, operators and integrators. He is responsible for the company’s functional safety systems and cyber‑security strategy.
With more than 25 years’ experience in developing Train Control and Management Systems (TCMS) and safety‑critical solutions, Jyrki has worked across multiple fleet types and rail markets. This broad international background gives him deep insight into differing system architectures, operational practices, and regulatory environments.
For the past 15 years, Jyrki has served as a member of IEC Technical Committee 9, Working Group 43, where he contributes to the standardisation of Train Communication Networks, including MVB
