Biography

Francisco is the Head of the Research and Development Department of ENYSE a company dedicated to Railways Signaling in Madrid, Spain. He is an Electronic Engineer and has more than 25 years of experience in Safety Critical development for Railways Signaling working in international environments. He has been leading teams since 1998 that include software and hardware engineers for companies like Invensys, GE and Siemens. Passionate about technology and railways signaling, his expertise is not only in leading multidisciplinary teams but also in system engineering, safety critical software development and hardware/software integration. He was involved in the development of the European Train Management System (ERTMS) specification. He has been involved in the CLC/TS 50701 review and participating in UNIFE Cybersecurity WG. He is currently participating in the definition of the cybersecurity solutions to be adopted in ENYSE’s project deployment.
