IoE Events and the Cyber Senate are monitoring the COVID 19 situation in Florida closely. For the Control Systems Cybersecurity USA 8th annual show on September 22-24th, we are implementing the following measures, subject to change as we progress.
Mask wearing is mandatory unless you are exempt.
Hand gels will be made available and each attendee is expected to take personal responsibility in ensuring they utilize these stations.
Temperature readings upon check-in to the event using a temporal thermometer. With COVID-19, a temperature of more than 37.8C/100.0F degrees is considered a symptom to err on the side of caution. (We suggest no physical activity or to cool down before coming to conference check-in for an accurate reading.)
We will request you sign a waiver stating you have no COVID symptoms and that we as organisers will not be held responsible for any subsequent illness from taking part in the event.
We will be collecting mobile phone numbers of every attendee in the event of infection among our attendees during or post-event, we will inform all via text.
We will not be distributing literature or conference programmes at the event. Delegate badges may be utilized, however, our event staff will be required to wear masks and gloves.
We will be monitoring seating closely to ensure the event is not oversubscribed or too cramped.
The conference room has windows and sliding glass doors, we will utilize fresh air as opposed to AC and therefore attendees are not expected or required to dress in business attire.
If we determine it is not safe to run the event, we will notify all attendees, speakers and sponsors and either run it virtually, or reschedule the show.
These terms will be updated as we proceed. Thank you for your cooperation.
